clear gold, frothy dirty white head, lots of streaky drippy lace,
big sweet citrus aroma with lots of grapefruit on sweet crystal malt,
sweet crystal and caramel malt flavor followed by lots of citrus hop flavor, nice bitterness provides a good balanced finish without taking anything away from the hop flavor,

citrus hop character is less pronounced letting the sweet crystal get a better foothold

Has a medium pine hop presence with muted caqramel malt notes. The body is a light amber and holds a two finger thick off white head. Fore is piney hops with a hint of something that almost tastes like burnt cinamon. Faint hint of citrus. Watered down caramel malt base with a herbal bitter finish. In some ways I kind of like this. The finish is more spicy/herbal bitter than hoppy. Perhaps it’s just a hop I am not accustomed to...maybe the hops got roasted, I don’t know, but I find it oddly appealing. wcampbell (582), Central, South Carolina, USA

The Peachtree Road Race was today, so I felt this beer would be a fine substitution for running around Atlanta.
Appearance: Pours a clear, medium amber body with a thinning, white head.
Smell: Freshly-squeezed citrus and pine needles with a bit of caramel malt to temper the aroma.
Taste: Lemony flavor with some pine, as well as scant amount of pale malts. Finishes citric with some of those pale malts making a return appearance.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: While not nearly as grueling or exhausting as a true road race, it was still nice to see the finish line. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA

Hoppy nose and flavor but a bit short on balance. Decent enough. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 27, 2007 Draft at the Atlanta airport - Poured a orangish amber in color with a medium whitish head. Aroma was of citrus-pine hops. Body was not bad but the beer had too much carbonation. Flavor was quite hoppy with a healthy bitterness. Little if any maltiness to balance the hops. OK, but not great...
