Aroma was of citrus-pine hops. Body was not bad but the beer had too much carbonation. Flavor was quite hoppy with a healthy bitterness. Little if any maltiness to balance the hops. OK, but not great... probstk (1064), Nepean, Ontario, Canada

App.: Medium-deep amber, small white head, clear.
Aroma: A curious, putrid apple odour; hard to get anything behind that.
Palate: Medium body, aggressive carbonation.
Flav.: BITTER! Pine and slight citrus hops, the nasty apple in hidden, some caramel; pretty good bitter finish with a bit of bread crust.
Its bark was worse that its bite...old bottle?? kwoeltje (1326), Manchester, Missouri, USA

Aroma was citrus/grapefruit hops, but flavor was more pine/grass hops. Better than most beers you can find at the airport, but a middle of the road APA. T2Tool (352), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA

Smell was sweet, and could detect some lemon. Taste was of citrus hops with a slight malty kick at the end. TheBeerOrg (1585), Kentucky, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 25, 2007 Pours amber with a thin, mostly receding wispy tan head. Aroma of musky grapefruit, toffee, and vinous hop resins. Taste is hoppy with grassy and citric notes, with a backing of pale malts and caramel. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly resinous with soft carbonation. Good, but largely forgettable amongst the sea of pale ales. theshocker (329), Marietta, Georgia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 20, 2007 Light tan. Looks flat for some reason. A mild lemon aroma. Tastes a bit better than it looks, balanced malt and bitterness (for a PA). Goes down pretty smooth. An easy drinking beer but nothing special. nearbeer (1860), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
