Commercial Description:
A delightful example of the pale ale style and a great compliment to food and music.

re-rate - slightly hazy orange under a small white head. little lacing. grapefruit aroma. a floral hop flavor dominates with enough malts to provide balance but could use more. a nice little apa. much different than a couple years ago in a good way.

Golden to amber pour with lots of head. Floral hoppy aroma. Fairly hoppy in flavor as well, with an odd maybe little smoky flavor. OK, but nothing special.

Head exploded to a massive level of suds. Decent look. Smell was rather bad. First thought was dirty socks, then it hit me, sharp cheddar cheese. Just nasty. Thin feel. Tast was ok but somewhat chemical like. Maybe like a sponge.

Tap at airport. Light amber colored with a white head. Moderate lacing. Hoppy aroma, but something strange, vegetal?? Taste is all bittering hops, absolutely no balance. Thin bodied. Rather disappointing.

Bottled: Quite dark for a pale ale. A bit fruity and mildly hoppy. Sort of a citrus and roasted taste, odd combo but a great result. I enjoyed this beer.

(12 oz bottle, obtained in trade with goldtwins, thanks Larry!) Even pouring this beer with extreme gentleness, the off-white head exploded, filling glass almost instantly. But for all that head, it sure dies down to a thin layer rather quickly. Fragrant aroma is very floral and somewhat sweet. The flavor is mildly sweet and malty, and also very floral. Light to medium in body. Pale golden in color. At least initially, each sip releases a mouthful of carbonation, but that ceases about as quickly as the head dies down. Some lacing here and there. Honestly, I was expecting swill, but this wasn’t bad.

Super active beer with an unabashed foam head. There’s a big aroma like unripened citrus. The flavor is musty, almost moldy or ashy with a tangy finish. Odd.

Murky amber with a generour head when I transferred it from the cold pint glass I was erved it from, into a room temp glass. Aroma was cereal and slightly tinny. There was a nice initial hop bite and sweet malty taste. Smooth and crisp.
