Commercial Description:
A delightful example of the pale ale style and a great compliment to food and music.

12. oz bottle. Weak aroma. Hoping for more from a Pale Ale. A murky appearance. Hops controlled to the flavor from start to finish.

A bit of cloudy golden color with an tinge of orange. Aroma is grassy hops with some grain (corn). Flavor is mostly toasted grain with faint grassy hops again and a bitter grapefruit finish. More hoppy than what I expect for an APA but that’s not a bad thing.

courtesy of Eric owner of Trappeze, Athens GA. Pours clear amber with white head. Aroma is hoppy, with good citrus like aromas. Taste, light fruit for a mix between bitter and sweet, between apricot and some bitter citrus. Finish of light bitter hops. Decent, but not spectacular.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a yellow-brown with an almost non-existent white head. Sweet, floral hop aroma but not much more there. Thin, weak hoppy, sour taste. Not a very good pale made even more disappointing by the fact that the Brick Brown was so good.

12 oz. bottle. Poured a hazy light brown. Small white head with little staying power. Weak nose with some fruit and floral notes. Taste seems to be balanced in the beginning with a lingering bitterness at the end. I would like a little more malt to even this one out. Hop flavor is there but not great. Overall it is okay, but there are better examples of the style.

Draft. Golden with a slight haze. The aroma is malty with some hoppy notes. The flavor is not bad, could use a little more hop presence in the finish.

Draught. Very clear with a very even head. Lots of white lacing. Would be prettier if it were less perfect like some people can be. Clean, mild but bright. Sweet grain aroma with some biscuit character. Smooth velvety mouthfeel almost like a nitro which would explain the evenness of the head...Has a long lingering bitter finish but that bitterness is all it has for nuance. Is otherwise thin.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark amber color with a medium sized yellow-white head. The aroma was sour, bitter, fruity and piney with a touch of resin. The flavor was sweetish, tangy and bitter with notes of pine and resin. The beer turned dry on the finish that was long with piney hops. Decent.
