12 oz. bottle on 4/24/2008. Clear deep gold pour with a white head that proves quite durable, and leaves a good lace. Aroma has some grain, citrus, and floral honey. Medium body and carbonation, mildly resinous. Bitterness starts quickly, over a light malty base, progressing into a distinct and lengthy grapefruity finish. A little unbalanced, and overly hoppy for an APA. If the ABV was a little higher, it would certainly be an IPA.

The beer that wishes it was Sweetwater 420. From the packaging to the aroma to the finish, this pale ale tastes like soap and looks like ... ok, it looks like beer. I’m leaving Atlanta in a month, and I’ve enjoyed my beer odyssey since 2005!

Poured amber with a fluffy off white head. Aroma of citrus. Some pine and citrus flavors. Finished watery. Not bad for a session brew.

Extremely drinkable. Smooth drinking. Session beer. Nothing outstanding, but overall a great drinking beer.

12 oz bottle and on draught at the ABC brewery itself. Aroma is primarily of floral and citrus hops with a slight malt background. Pours a goldish-amber with ample 1-3 fingers worth of white crown, but less than decent retention and wispy lacing. Flavour is initially herbal hops, bitter, giving way to a malty finish with some grassy undertones - great initial taste but I don’t care much for the finish even though it is rather crisp. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with lots of spritely carbonation. overall a decent cheap pale ale but I’d rather pay premium to get better Atlanta craftbrewed pale ales (namely Terrapin’s RyePA and Sweetwater’s 420 ExtraPA).

A golden amber pour with an off white head with a creamy lacing. A nice hops character on the nose. Rich maltiness with a good finishing bitter. A tit thin and just a tad foamy. Pretty good for the style. Good balance between the malt and hops.

on tap-pours a retaining thin off white head and gold color. Aroma is citrus hops-grapefruit (cascade+), secondary medium malt. Taste is citrus hops-grapefruit (cascade+), secondary medium malt, roasty. Semi-dry finish. Nice. OK carbonation.

12oz bottle light copper color, white head. Decent lacing. Hoppy aroma. Lots of hop flavors. Calm malt character. Smooth bitter finish. Light bodied.
