Bottled: Quite dark for a pale ale. A bit fruity and mildly hoppy. Sort of a citrus and roasted taste, odd combo but a great result. I enjoyed this beer.

This is a great beer. Some of the other reviewers are pretty tough to please. It is somewhat like Bass in that the first few sips are rather misleading but half way through the glass you begin to understand what a great beer this is. It is slightly malty, great color and lacing, superb finish.

on tap-pours a retaining thin off white head and gold color. Aroma is citrus hops-grapefruit (cascade+), secondary medium malt. Taste is citrus hops-grapefruit (cascade+), secondary medium malt, roasty. Semi-dry finish. Nice. OK carbonation.

Sampled at the Music City Brewers Festival. Sorry to go against the grain, but the beer they served me was the best Pale Ale that I had at the Festival. Maybe tap is better than Bottle? New brewer? Pours amber with a white head. Aroma of caramel and fruity hops. Flavor of pale malts, toffee, caramel, balanced by some herbal hop bitterness. Some english characteristics. A solid pale IMO. At least the one I had.

12oz bottle courtesy of Ding, thanks! Turbid orange with a dispersed white head, rocky and lacing the glass. It smells like minerals and slightly metallic. Taste is decent, balanced with a bit of fruitiness and quite easy to drink, my glass was gone in about fifteen minutes. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 04-04-2009 02:49:56

Light copper color and nice head. Nice floral hop aroma with a slight fruity edge. Not too bad. The body is medium and the finish is fairly clean. A decent pale

Slightly hazy golden colour with strong orange highlights. VERY LARGE (at leat 5 centimetres in a big glass--way too much) dense off-white head. Smells of citrusie hops very prominent and definately mouthwatering. Strong citrus sweetness along with that citrus hoppiness in the taste, which is very pleasant. The aftertaste is a bit shallow, only showing a small amount of the hops and an evern smaller amount of the malt, but after the strong flavour, it was acceptable! Seemingly a bit out of balance, having too much hops and not enough malt, but odd enough--I like it that way. A very close contender to being considered an India Pale, this one is very hoppy for an APA, and blows my mind that it isn't ranked higher. My only complaint is that its head was WAY too large, but it died down a few minutes later. I got this twelve ounce beer from Matt A. (Mabdoney) in Florida. Thanks again, Matt!!!

Good, not great beer. Sort of a resiny hop flavor, with maybe a hint of I don’t know, blueberries? Not bad.
