| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 1/5 | 12/20 | Mar 3, 2009 12 oz. Opaque, orange-golden with a humongous sponge of foam that requires 18 separate and careful pours, and leaves a frosty crunchy lace behind each time. Aroma of clove, light banana and bready yeast. Flavor is similar, but has more tart citrus and less banana than I like in a Hefe. Light body is acidic-tingly and dry but way too fizzy, exploding like PopRocks in the mouth. daknole (2973), Plantation, Florida, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 30, 2008 12 oz. bottle - thanks to springslicker for the bonus bottle; pours very cloudy and straw yellow; spotty white head; nice lemon zest mixed with the wheat and grain aromas; crisp, raw and grainy; a little on the sweet side, but pretty bland overall; easy drinker though Cybercat (806), Georgia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 27, 2008 This hefe pours a cloudy canary yellow and has a nice thick white head. Aroma is not strong but wheaty and appetizing, with just a hint of fruit. Flavor is typical of a fine hefeweizen - wheaty and malty with a fruity undertone, not complex but refreshing. Texture is crisp and smooth. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 26, 2008 Bottle. This beer is infected, but I believe it produces a nice sour flavor that actually makes the beer very enjoyable. Who would have thought I would say that? Sure its kind of metallic in places, but damn if the sour doesnt mesh well with the fact that it has so much carbonation. A surprisingly good, but not what they intended, beer. mhelgason (495), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA
