Commercial Description:
Red Brick Summer Brew is a traditional Hefeweizen style beer. We use traditional Hefeweisen yeast that imparts the beautiful flava and aroma, reminiscent of summer itself. Unfiltered to keep the unique character of the yeast intact. Golden and nearly opaque, this classic summer beer is beautiful in a tall slender glass. Garnish with a slice of lemon or orange on the rim of your glass.

Sampled at BDR’s tasting and shared by BDR. Pours a hazy straw golden yellow brew with a fast dissolving white head that dissipates nearly clean. Aroma of some pre-skonk hops, a touch of lemon zest and some white bread malt, Taste is acidic and slightly vinegared and metallic. Oh, oh... may have been an infected bottle. Willing to try again.

Mild wheat aroma. Cloudy yellow. Some wheat, but kind of skunked. It might have been a bad bottle but from other ratings, it might not be the only one.

Lemonade yellow with almost no head. Lemon aroma with wheat and something else. Sour flavor, though in a good way. Clearly infected, but a little brett usually helps.

A cloudy yellow pour with a thin cramy white head. A deep clove bananna aroma. Very spicy. A nice fruity banna at the front and a lingering bannana after taste the spices come thorugh as well. A little watery but a carbonation I like for the style. A beer I liked from a style I’m realitively fon fo but I’m glad it is seasonal?

Dark yellow with a medium slightly off white head. A bit of a malty aroma. The flavor is light and not full of much. That’s not a bad thing for this cloudy easy drinking brew.
