From Skyview. Mild, bitter hops in the aroma. Fairly crisp flavor, but a grain character I don’t care for. Yellow in color, light palate.

Sweet body with faint grain & hops. A little caramel sweetness and a hoppy bite at the finish.

Attended the Grand Opening of Red Eye Brewing Company near downtown Wausau, Wisconsin. Pours a hazy light caramel amber brew with a thick and creamy white head with some excellent retention and thick lacing. Aroma of fruity caramel malt, some sweet citrus hops, some mild herbal spice and a touch of grapefruit zest. Taste is medium bodied, very light carbonation with flavors of light caramel malt, citrusy and pine hop with a excellent balance of crisp hop bitterness. Finish is semi-dry with a mild hop bitterness that lingers around after the finish. For a Golden Blonde Ale this one looks and tastes more like an American Pale Ale with the extra hop character but still very enjoyable.
