On draught at the brewpub in Wausau, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-hazy brownish amber colored brew with a thick off-white head that has some excellent retention and excellent lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, fruity, some light honey, flowery hops and a touch of allspice. Taste is smooth and creamy, medium bodied, flavors of caramel malt, a touch of banana, tropical fruit and some creme tartar. Finish is semi-sweet, no bitterness, with some aftertaste of light banana, dark pitted fruits and caramel. A nice experimental grain dunkelweizen.
