Poured an opaque black color with a medium sized, tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, cocoa, smoke, wood, vanilla bean, coffee, some dark fruits, and light alcohol. Taste of roasted malts, some coffee, wood, chestnuts, tobacco, smoke, dark chocolate, and some alcohol in the finish. Thanks for sharing Steve!

Black. Medium palate. The aroma has coffee and malt. More coffee in the flavor, with heavily roasted malt. A good coffee stout from this small brewery.

[Growler] shared by skyview. Pours a clear deep brown with a diminishing beige head. Aroma is acrid coffee grounds, dry cocoa powder, some bittersweet chocolate, and roasted malts. Flavor has lots of great coffee, rich chocolate, caramel, and a bittersweet finish.

SourFest II. Growler, courtesy of Skyview. Black color with no head. Big coffee aroma. Very strong coffee flavor. A lot of roasted malts and some chocolate. While it may really be just a glass of thick, alcoholic and malty coffee, I happen to love that.

Brown color. Heavy coffee on the aroma. About all I smell, but not offensive. Very solid coffee taste.

Had this one from a growler, thanks Slothgar! Oily, milky dark brown pour with a medium brown, foamy head, a nice barbecue sauce, sweet chocolate and soy sauce nose, delicious complexity, very malty, thick and cloying mouthfeel, lots of toasty malt, chocolate and coffee, an outstanding stout.
