thegreenrooster (1514), St.louis, Missouri, USA Oct 3, 2008 Pour is a sick looking yellow with a soapy white head. Aroma is grain and some chemical. Flavor is heavy and thick with some malts and a finish that’s like paint thinner. Its been a while since i had a malt liquor and now i know why. If your thinking a malt liquor from the philippines would suck, buddy you ain’t kidding. Strykzone (1020), Wood River, Illinois, USA Sep 21, 2008 Gold with small white head. Corn and honey in both aroma and taste. Makes me think of the Oak Aged Yeti I had a couple of years ago. Makes me think "why didn’t I pick up the Yeti instead of this." Actually it is nicer than other high gravity beers I have had. SuperDave70 (832), Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA Sep 8, 2008 Yellow pour with a fizzy head that is gone in a flash. Grain, malt and corn in the aroma. Flavor is pretty standard for a malt liquor, but lighter than most. No big deal. dwyerpg (2094), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Aug 14, 2008 Smells kind of like sewer water. Tastes a bit strong of alcohol up front. The flavor is not as bad as the aroma. Still it leaves a funky taste as is not that good. PorterPounder (2852), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Jul 29, 2008 St. Petersburg, Fl. - Shep’s Deli - 12 oz bottle. Pale golden pour, pithy white head that dissipates quickly. Industrial, oily aroma with hints of metal. Kind of a bland flavor with some hollow sweetness and a hint of metal. Bump up a point from 7 to 8 on overall impression for the painted bottle - one of the few redeeming qualities of this malt likkah.
