Amber pour with no lace or head to speak of. Not much flavor nor much body just a drinkable beer is about all I can say. Thin and watery. Not much a beer I would drink again but not special at all. Aroma of sweet doughy caramel malts and a touch of noble hops and graininess. Body starts lightly sweet and mild with some earthy bittering hops and a drier, thinner effervescent finish. A pretty average Altbier. shp555 (1690), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Lacing is good however and the color is a dark amber. Aromas of chocolatey malts. Full nectar with good carbonation. This one has a defined hop presence that sets the pace with a fat malt body closing in. Flavors of caramel and citrus rind. The finish is bittered well and has a lingering metalic nuance. Very earthy nutty flavor, light hops towards the finish. I was going to say, this is more alt then amber, but now I see others it is listed as an alt here.
