| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 19, 2007 Sampled on draught and in bottles at Sams Tap Room, next to the brewpub in Red Lodge, Montana. Pours a cola caramel color brew with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of nutty brown malt, some apple and a touch of flowery hops. Taste is smooth and creamy, medium bodied with a smoked bready malt character. Palate has a slight dry flowery hop aftertaste that turns into a dry finish. Seems the on draught version has a little more flavor than the bottled version. beerinmarch (2804), Washington, USA
