Oct 13, 2007 The smoothest Hefeweizen I’ve ever had. I was at this bar in Cody, Wyoming called the Silver Dollar, and I was downing pint after pint of this until I realized it was the middle of the afternoon and I was drunk. The bartender was nice, she made me this awesome platter of piping fresh fries. The rest of the day was an adventure.

Aug 14, 2007 Tap @ The Grizzly Bear in Roscoe, MT. Hazy blonde color, light white head and nice lacing. Nose of light citrus and hops, clean yeast and some nice sweet malt. The flavor is yeast, no esters. Clean wheat and yeast. The finish is citrusy and grassy. Decent.

Jul 19, 2007 Sampled on draught and in bottles at Sam’s Tap Room, next to the brewpub in Red Lodge, Montana. Pours a hazy golden pale brew with a creamy white head that quickly dissolves. Aroma of light enriched white bread, a slight yeast and a touch of banana esters. Scent is very light to pick up. Taste is medium bodied, lighly carbonated with a multi-grain malt flavor. No yeast or dry banana flavors in the palate. Finish is sweet with a touch of lemon citrus in the aftertaste. An average light wheat beer.

Apr 30, 2007 Gold in color with average white head. Sweet nose, with hints of lemon on the nose. Flavor is kind of sweet also with lemonhead sweetness to it. Rather light body to it.

Oct 7, 2006 Bottled. This oddball had a hazy golden body with a moderately lasting off white head... Flavor was rich and unusually sweet for a hefe. Had a strange, almost buttery finish. Is this diacetyl??? I can say I truly disliked this beer, but I wasn’t a fan of it either.

Jun 12, 2006 (draft) Hazy apple juice body with white head. Aroma is mild, medium sweet, bread, light banana. Taste is medium sweet, orange, some banana, wheat. Watery light body.

Dec 31, 2005 Pours a hazy golden yellow color. Aromas of bread, some yeast, and atouch of citrus. Flavor has n ice citrus taste, with yeasty notes. Nice clean finish.

Feb 24, 2005 This was an excelllent beer. It was nice and cloudy with a white head that doesn’t stay around for long. Very very smooth taste with a clean finish. I was very impressed. Red Lodge makes some sweet brews. I wish they had more available.
