Mostly clean aroma, a little nuttiness. Agreeable on the palate. Clean taste with some light nuttiness on the back end. Decent, just not real flavorful. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 24, 2007 Pours a dark brown, with a small off white head. Smells of caramel malts, dark fruits, and mild roast. The flavor is quite balanced, some sweet maltiness to it, mixed in with some dark fruit and caramel. Not an overly complex dunkel, but still had all the typical features of one. A little sticky sweet aftertaste. Very drinkable, but nothing too exciting or intriguing here. Not bad. emacgee (1892), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Apr 18, 2007 Had at the brewery... Not bad for a Lager. I think my low expectations made it a little more pleasing. Body was a little thin for my liking, but the taste wasn’t bad. Nice lacing... had a decent amount of malt, very low hops, all in all a beer worth tasting...
