Commercial Description:
Hummingbird is a light lager or Hell (Helles) similar to those found throughout Bavaria. We use carefully selected Pilsner malt... then it is delicately hopped with imported Tettnang noble hops. Then we add a proprietary lager yeast strain which is not filtered out. Hummin’ Bird is slow cold aged for over one month resulting in a lush mouth feel.

Umm, there’s no reason to drink this beer. It’s crisp and refreshing but no different than MGD.

Beer #2 for me at the WBF in Durham. Was pleasantly surprised by the honeysuckle that I tasted in this beer. Other than that taste novelty, this beer scored pretty low for me overall.

Draught at Down Under Pub in Durham, NC. Slightly hazy, golden color with thin white head. Grainy, slightly hoppy aroma with nice grainy flavor and aftertaste.

On tap at First Horizon Park in Greensboro. I usually take the time to give detailed ratings when I do this. I’m not going to bother here. The taste is pretty damn close to your standard macro-swill and I really wish that I would’ve just got a cheaper Budweiser.

Light golden with thin white head and effervescent body. Corn aroma although the beer should contain none. Heavy inital malty, cereal grain taste. Hops were not present. This beer is out of balance. One dimensional, dry malty lager finish.

Draft at Mcgregors. Hazy gold pour with some hopcit aroma. Slight fruity taste, with finishing hopcit. Not bad, but below average on my rating scale.

This was like a lighter version of the maibock only without any of the flavor or any of the palate feel. Just as Dogbrick said...a standard light brewpub offering. Same cracked rye flavor as always from all their brews but it just plummets into your palate and then dies. Not good G-rat

On draught at the brewpub. This is your typical light brewpub offering. Pale gold and effervescent with a thin white head. No lacing. Aroma of light hops. Light and crisp with a faint hops flavor kind of washed away by the bubbles. Crisp finish. Not a lot going on here.
