Beer afficionadoes will not find much quality here, but for a good old lager, this is ain’t bad.

| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Dec 27, 2009 12oz can, Trader Joe’s, Roswell, GA. Clear yellow pour with a white head. Aroma of sweet corn, fruit and bubblegum. A touch of cereal malts. God-awful Midwest corn meal beer flavor. Loads of dried hay, steamed vegetables, and an odd fruit ester in the finish. A touch of hop bitterness adds the slightest flavor of freshly fallen autumn leaves. Fairly decent lacing, light to medium bodied. For $2.99 per 6pk.... you get what you pay for! drjay44 (821), Salida, Colorado, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 16, 2009 12 oz. can. Acquired at Trader Joe’s. Pours a thin short lived white head over a clear, yellow (SRM 5) body.....nose is vaguely present with a bit of cereal and corn, and a bit of grass on the finish.....taste is ginger-ale with a slightly sweet finish......mouth feel is light and watery, carbonation makes it fizzy like a soft drink. Not the worst Pale Lager I have had, but it certainly is identifiable as one. cbkschubert (2023), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Dec 9, 2009 This beer has got to be the lowest i have ever paid for a single at a whopping 50 cents a can. Pour is yellow with a fizzy head. Aroma is grain and the flavor is sweet malts and not much else. Its a pale lager with a little more body to it than BMC. dkachur (2431), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

Pours a typical pale lager golden with a large creamy, foamy head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is bitter grassy notes along with some sawdust. Taste is creamed corn with a bitter grassy finish. Thin-medium bodied. Good for the style. Tmoney99 (4794), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 23, 2009 I poured a little out for my homies so I could see what I already knew and smell better the stench that emits from within. Surprisingly there wasn’t much of a stench...or any smell for that matter. Am i getting a cold? Unsurprising however was the appearance of this stuff as it sat in my little 2003 Chicago Real Ale fest sampler glass. My other glasses are in the dishwasher. So yeah, yellow with white on top. Taste is cleaner than I expected yet much lighter than i both expected and hoped. At this point I think I’d rather have a strong bad taste than a faint taste of nothing. There’s really nothing to describe...maybe its like someone squeezed a small segment of mandarin orange into a glass of Perrier and let it sit on the table over night...but I don’t think its that refreshing. Its really clean though so, for people that this beer may appeal to, I can see this being a favorite. daknole (3030), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
