Aroma is awfully grainy, corny and watery. Flavor is much of the same, but is mostly sweet and surprisingly sugary. Not good by any means but there is no astringency, nothing offensive. Just sweet even in the finish. Light body and aq moderate fizzy carbonation. Not as bad as I expected, super cheap

Pours a typical pale lager golden with a large creamy, foamy head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is bitter grassy notes along with some sawdust. Taste is creamed corn with a bitter grassy finish. Thin-medium bodied. Good for the style. Tmoney99 (4745), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Poured clear pale color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Light to moderate grassy aroma. Light body with a thin texture and soft carbonation. Light sweet flavor with light sweet finish of short duration. Another worth trying once.

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 23, 2009 I poured a little out for my homies so I could see what I already knew and smell better the stench that emits from within. Surprisingly there wasn’t much of a stench...or any smell for that matter. Am i getting a cold? Unsurprising however was the appearance of this stuff as it sat in my little 2003 Chicago Real Ale fest sampler glass. My other glasses are in the dishwasher. So yeah, yellow with white on top. Taste is cleaner than I expected yet much lighter than i both expected and hoped. At this point I think I’d rather have a strong bad taste than a faint taste of nothing. There’s really nothing to describe...maybe its like someone squeezed a small segment of mandarin orange into a glass of Perrier and let it sit on the table over night...but I don’t think its that refreshing. Its really clean though so, for people that this beer may appeal to, I can see this being a favorite. daknole (2941), Plantation, Florida, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 2, 2009 not many reviews here. had to try it. i used to like fat cat lager back in the day. same brewer i guess. this beer isn’t all that bad. just reminds me of apple juice same way some japanese commercial beers do. Probably the same as our friend "Simple Tim". for 2.99 i think this stuff will probably get you full and a little tired. I don’t think you could get drunk off of this stuff. I’ll try tho. dankman38 (228), Somewhere in, Ohio, USA

Smells sweet, corny with a perfect hint of butter; mmm buttery beer. The flavor is sweet and grainy with the butter I noticed on the nose, it finishes sweet and when it warms up a bit cloying. I might buy this to keep around for visits from friends with poor tastes, it will keep them away from the beer I want to drink. (Please note, the comments about butter flavor being good were sarcastic). bhensonb (4285), Woodland, California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 2, 2009 Can from Trader Joe’s. Pours gold with a huge white head. Aroma is mostly grain. Near medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is bready/grainy with little hop. It’s clean, and seems to have a mild florality. Eh!
