Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
"It is a deep coppery-red in colour and is very aromatic with intensely floral hops and a lightly sweet and malty flavour. This full-bodied ale offers a very pleasant high bitterness, with smooth sweet malt character, creamy head with good carbonation, and with an excellent bittersweet finish."

Very yeasty, rising bread, nose (expiry "130809") and beady white head atop a clear dark amber liquor. Smooth, slightly watery mouthfeel with a touch of bitterness to finish.

Bottle. Medium high lasting creamy and lasting off-white head. Lovely clear amber body. Distinct, simple and good barley malt aroma. A bit sweet but still good. Heavily carbonated and a bit watery barley malt aroma with little hops bitterness. Short aftertaste.

Flowery barley malt and salt nose with a curious smoke....almost like an agave. This really is Mexican! Corn syrup colour. Bitter mouth....but more on the sour side. Distilled water & caramel also mix in. Finish is decent, with a nice lingering roasted malt.

Amber in colour with medium size off white head. Roasty caramel flavors. Thin body and shot mouth feel. Good for cooling mouth down after spicy dinner

Bottle in a World of Beer pack. Dark amber. Moderate off-white head. Caramel aroma. Noticeable hops, good body, roasty caramel flavours. Just a hint of rawness in the finish. Long aftertaste. Above average from Mexico.

12oz bottle. Poured a deeper amberish-orange color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, some citrus, and a little biscuity. Tastes of caramel and some citrus. Also has an overall graininess to it. Body was on the thinner side as were the tastes.

Clear amber. Low caramel aroma. same one-note caramel palate. On the thin side. More like a typcal Mexican vienna style where they add a dash of caramel colour to a thin shitty pale malt foundation. Whatever.

Pours a dark red colour with a small white head. Aroma is of citrus, spice, soft fruit sweetness, malt, and a hint of cherries. Tastes of plums, caramel, spice and a medicinal finish. OK beer, not great.
