Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
"It is a deep coppery-red in colour and is very aromatic with intensely floral hops and a lightly sweet and malty flavour. This full-bodied ale offers a very pleasant high bitterness, with smooth sweet malt character, creamy head with good carbonation, and with an excellent bittersweet finish."

Bottle. Brownish/Reddish beer with a reasonable head. The aroma is quite strongly malty and the flavour is malty, lightly rich and quite bitter. Overall a nice beer.

Just awesome, nice name and nice funny label. It is probably the best amber ale I have tied in my country, it is good they use a Mexican ale style name.

Bottle in a World of Beer pack. Dark amber. Moderate off-white head. Caramel aroma. Noticeable hops, good body, roasty caramel flavours. Just a hint of rawness in the finish. Long aftertaste. Above average from Mexico.

Bottle, Carringtons, Didsbury. Pours a muddy copper colour. Sweetish malty aroma. Quite a strange flavour but not unpleasant - sweetish again with hints of chewy toffee. Would try again.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. A pleasant beer. Dry mouth, sweet taste. Initially rather clean, it develops some character on warming up. When cold it comes over as a characterless Irish Red - and even suggestions of a coloured lager - but warmth really brings out this beers hidden charms. There is an attractive floral fragrance, and a sweet mouthfeel. I wouldn’t associate the term Amber Ale with a beer as floral and malty as this.

Botella. Clear amber, short white head. Toasty caramel aroma with mild spice and slight chocolate. The flavour has toasted malt with caramel, some bitterness and slight chocolate. Toasty caramellic finish with a little chocolate touch.

Appearance: Pours a clear, mahogany-hued body with a thin, whitish head. Smell: Some mildly spicy, floral tones set against some simple, standard pale malts and their modest notes of caramel and grains. Taste: Pale malts with a smallish amount of graininess and a thinned out caramel sweetness. Hint of apple fruitiness. Seemingly spicy, floral, earthy hops though with only a medium-low amount of bitterness. Teeny taste of pepper on the bittersweet finish. Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium-low carbonation. Drinkability: Well, it certainly slaps the sombrero off most of the other Mexican beers I’ve had. I’d imagine it would pair well with the Pollo Supremo at the nearby Los Reyes Mexican restaurant. Can’t we bump Sol off the beer menu and replace it with this?
