It is probably the best amber ale I have tied in my country, it is good they use a Mexican ale style name. presario (2983), Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Quite a strange flavour but not unpleasant - sweetish again with hints of chewy toffee. Would try again. SilkTork (4173), Rochester, Kent, England
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 30, 2009 330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. A pleasant beer. Dry mouth, sweet taste. Initially rather clean, it develops some character on warming up. When cold it comes over as a characterless Irish Red - and even suggestions of a coloured lager - but warmth really brings out this beers hidden charms. There is an attractive floral fragrance, and a sweet mouthfeel. I wouldn’t associate the term Amber Ale with a beer as floral and malty as this. faroeviking (6082), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 12, 2008 Botella. Clear amber, short white head. Toasty caramel aroma with mild spice and slight chocolate. The flavour has toasted malt with caramel, some bitterness and slight chocolate. Toasty caramellic finish with a little chocolate touch. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 10, 2009 Appearance: Pours a clear, mahogany-hued body with a thin, whitish head.
Smell: Some mildly spicy, floral tones set against some simple, standard pale malts and their modest notes of caramel and grains.
Taste: Pale malts with a smallish amount of graininess and a thinned out caramel sweetness. Hint of apple fruitiness. Seemingly spicy, floral, earthy hops though with only a medium-low amount of bitterness. Teeny taste of pepper on the bittersweet finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium-low carbonation.
Drinkability: Well, it certainly slaps the sombrero off most of the other Mexican beers I’ve had. I’d imagine it would pair well with the Pollo Supremo at the nearby Los Reyes Mexican restaurant. Can’t we bump Sol off the beer menu and replace it with this? charlotte (2030), Vanløse, Denmark
