Draft pint at the brewpub. A bit dark for style perhaps, crimson amber with a standing but thin head. Light malty aroma ... similary mellow malt flavors predominate. Very drinkable and hardly offending to anyone. Smooth restrained caramels, just a hint of apple with virtually no bitterness to finish. Anyone could drink gallons. (#2793, 4/12/2007)
