imdownthepub (4312), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Aug 26, 2008 Cask conditioned, gravity dispense at The George, Barford St. Michael, Oxon. Yellow gold with very slight head. Light, thin, lagery type beer, quite dry and unfortunately flat. A touch of caramel in the body and just a hint of lemony hop. Drinkable but just a little boring. maeib (4141), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England May 24, 2007 Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Cambridge BF. A golden coloured bitter. The aroma is light with a flowery saaz feel to it, and a hint of fart. The taste is light, but reasonably well balanced. Quaffable, but ultimately quite dull. StueyD (590), King’s Lynn, Norfolk, Norfolk, England May 23, 2007 A pale, golden yellow coloured beer with a thickish white head. A light, hoppy nose, zesty lemon leads the citrus fruit charge, with grapefruit and orange, and a touch floral as well. The taste is is dry and hoppy, zesty citrus fruits again, then a touch floral which leads into a more sweeter, buttery malt flavour. The finish is dry, zesty and a little fizzy. (Cask - 2007 Cambridge Beer Festival). SilkTork (3959), Rochester, Kent, England Apr 24, 2007 500ml bottle from a supermarket in Torquay. Active yeast produces a creamy dense clean white head. Carbonation is lively, fresh, soft and attractive. Beer is light, zesty, citric fresh, with a gentle sweetness in the middle and a mild flowery finish. Some earthy bitterness lingering. A delicious drinking beer - exactly the sort of thing I like. johninmelb (641), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Feb 14, 2007 Aroma fresh and zesty with some lemonade notes. Pours pale gold with a fluffy white head. Well hopped with good citrus and a surprising depth of flavour for such a low alcohol beer. vERY NICE.
