Ibrew2or3 (2003), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Jul 4, 2008 On tap @ The Bayou. Pours with a bit of haze with a gold to copper body and bright white head. The aroma is sugary sweet and backed up by ripe banana and more sugar sweetness. I also get a touch of lemon and spice in the background. The taste is big sweetness and ripe banana, just a hint of grainy malts and some light notes of banana nut bread. Just too darn sweet for my taste.
douglas88 (1016), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Jun 29, 2008 On tap at the Bayou. Pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head. The nose is very strong; mostly banana and very sweet notes, some nutty aspects too. The taste was kinda like having a slice of banana but bread, some cloves and malt in there, sweet and filling. I guess this just is not my thing. jcwattsrugger (4272), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jun 24, 2007 on tap-pours a white head that laces and cloudy yellow color. Aroma is faint coriander/perfumy, banana. Taste is coriander/perfumy, banana. OK effervescence. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA Oct 8, 2005
Murky, pale yellow with a wipsy heaed. Smells like meat. Very odd. Some bitter notes with wheat. Flavors of wheat, citrus and some bitter coriander. BückDich (4618), Boise, Idaho, USA Jun 6, 2005 NABA ’05: Lots of citrusy yeast notes, very acidic, strong and malty. They say that the nose is the most powerful memory receptor. why am I remembering smells from a deep sea fishing voyage when I smell this beer? That can’t be good but it has a toasty quality to it like the small of freshly vinegared rice touching some crunching nori. Slighly funky notes to say, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
