On tap at the brewpub. Pours a bright orange with a bit of red with a thick beige head. The aroma is light malts. The taste was mostly a smooth creamy malt with some light hops and a small bitterness. Pretty nice. I enjoyed this one.

Mahogany with a small head and good lacing. Wet malt aromas. Soapy hops and roasted malts. Bitter flavors of caramel and roast. Tail is so so.

NABA ’05: Amber color, light hops, stark astringency and watery, albeit a little malty, body.

Dark red beer with a still white head. It gives a sharp aroma with the promised sharp-sweet flavors forthcoming ... caramel, mostly, but ending with a bitter hoppiness.
