douglas88 (1016), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Apr 24, 2008 Updated: Jan 3, 2009On tap at the brewpub in SLC. Pours a clear and light gold with a thin white head. The aroma is mostly bready and full of malts. The taste was filled with a kinda funky malt with some hops. Not bad, but pretty simple brew. Re-rate: had this again on tap, and it was pretty nice; light hops and malt, pretty earth and malty. A nice smooth drink. mikey (323), farmington, Utah, USA Aug 29, 2007 Poured a nice clear yellow straw color with a healthy cap of head on top. The nose was mostly grassy and not much else. The taste was grassy and spicey with very lttle malt backbone. The finish was bitter and bready. The feel was medium to thin. This pils was too lightly malted and way over-hopped, creating an off balance brew that didn’t work for me at all. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA Jun 6, 2004 Pale yellow-gold with a light head. Sour malts and hops. Cologne almost. Similar flavors with more hops. Thin palate weak body make a boring beer. BückDich (4618), Boise, Idaho, USA Jun 6, 2004 NABA ’04: Yellow pale, some head, light lacing. Malty watery aroma, musty flavor, bad finish.
