Commercial Description:
Bottle conditioned.
Originally brewed by mistake when one of the brewers put the wrong sort of malt into a batch of Red Rock but realised his mistake before he added the hops. A quickly devised blend of Goldings and Bramling Cross produced a wonderful dry, nutty beer which is perfectly balanced.

bottle, from Darts Farm. Cloudy amber-copper colour, mid-sized head. Malty base, pleasantly hoppy, especially in the finish. Intensive herbal flavours and hints of blueberries. Quite spicy. A good one!

Bottle. Massive head upon pouring. Regular top ups were needed as the head just wouldn’t move. There was some bitterness but most of the mouth feel came from the head that wouldn’t disappear. Not a pleasant experience.

Bottle. Hazy amber brown with a large off-white foam. Aromas are toffee malts with citrus. Woody and earthy with cream and spices. Flavours are sweet toffee malts with lots of grapefruit. Some real lemonade with grapefruit and light woody pine on the finish. Has a long dry aftertaste. A very good bottled bitter.

Bottle at home ... amber coloured ...nutty woody nose ...fruity nutty malts with a little woodyness ... quite a dry finnish.

Bottle, Carringtons, Didsbury. Pours a hazy golden colour with a thin head. Hoppy aroma and flavour. Dry, bitter finish. Not earth shattering, but solid enough.
