BrewDad (1805), Olympia, Washington, USA Dec 31, 2008 Taster – Red Rocks Brewing Co. – Salt Lake City, UT – Has a decent what with a citrus aroma. This was light with the lack of malt but overall not too bad. Can drink all day if it was a hot day. spud1987 (46), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA Mar 29, 2008 On tap at RR Brewing Co in SLC. Poured a cloudy yellow-orange. Very nice appearance. Aroma not too strong, but picked up hints of citrus with the wheat. Flavor was nice and light and crisp with some citrus. Not as complex as some other Hefe’s but good nonetheless. Would gladly drink again. douglas88 (1016), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Mar 1, 2008 On tap at the Brewpub. Pours a cloudy orange with a thick white head. The aroma is citrus, spices, and earthy tones. The flavor is also dominated by a light citrus and earthy aspect, also some spices and wheat. Simple, but good. mikey (323), farmington, Utah, USA Aug 29, 2007 Poured a cloudy yellow/gold color with a small but thick creamy head. The nose was of wheat and yeast. The flavor started with raw, creamy wheat. light yeasty notes came next with hints of lemon in it. The finish was a little sweet and creamy. The feel is moderate to light. This Hef is like a million other American wheats out there. Okay, but nothing special. Still, on a hot day these would do me just fine. alexanderj (1523), San Diego, California, USA Aug 17, 2007 On draft; color was a hazy yellow. Aroma was light with some wheat and light spice. Flavor was thin, a theme at this brewery. I agree with the rater below that it reminded me of an American wheat.
