Cask@Newark Beer Festival, 2008. Black beer with a mildly coffee aroma and a bitter and roasted coffee flavour. Overall a nice well roasted and coffee flavoured beer.

Jul 10, 2008 Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel, Northampton. A black beer with an off-white head. The aroma has roasted malt together with caramel and chocolate. The taste is dry with some smooth roasty flavours. Very nice.
