harrisoni (5130), Ashford, Kent, England Jun 3, 2008 Cask gravity at Reading BF 08. Gold colour with lasting beige head. Slightly cheesey hop. Tasty. Hop is sherberty. Bit of depth. Fine, but a pretty standard golden beer. Beese (79), Watford, Hertfordshire, England Jul 24, 2007 Pours a golden, slightly hazey colour with a reasonable amount of white head. Strong citric aroma and a slightly unusual taste in that there’s a bit of a metallic edge and some straw flavours. Quite nice, but not, perhaps, one of their better beers. Mes_and_Sim (4360), Highgate, Greater London, England Mar 9, 2007 A Mes Rate:
Cask at The Gatehouse ’Spoons. A little too much iron otherwise it’s a wheaty English pale that is verging on lager. Slightly hoppy. A little more malt. Reasonably balanced just not particularly much happening.
