Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, grapefruit, orange, vanilla. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (030508)

May 24, 2008 Cask, gravity, at Cambridge Beer Festival ’08. Amber with a small white head. A sweet and quite startling candy aroma developed into a warm, rounded maltiness. Lovely sweet malty taste and a sharp bitterness. Stand out beer of the Festival for me.
