Magicdave6 (4156), London, Greater London, England Aug 13, 2008 Cask in the Whole hog. Aroma is nutty malt with peppery citrus hop. Taste is far more floural with the citrus kickin in, but quite well balanced and tasty.
maeib (4141), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Aug 28, 2008 Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Peterboro BF 2008. A golden coloured beer with lots of citric notes in the nose and mouth. Oranges and lemons feature, although the oranges are very fleshy and not particularly juicy. Some sugary sweetness with the sticky malts. A odd melange of flavours, but oddly endearing. hughie (2459), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Aug 24, 2008 Cask, gravity, at Peterborough BF ’08. Coppery gold with a small off white head. Aroma had very faint background chocolate. Oily rather clothy taste, quite bitter. Odd but acceptable.
