euserphriendly (163), Holland, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 5, 2005 For a mild ale it was very flavorfull. Small head and good body. Many sessions began and ended with this one. FROTHINGSLOSH (1961), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 2, 2004 Updated: Aug 15, 2007Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a medium amber color with a small white head. Aroma was slightly sour malt. The flavor was typical ale on the front followed by a bready, grainy finish. A certain complexity in the grain finish really intrigues the palate. boto (1319), Granby, Connecticut, USA Jan 18, 2004 (4GA is short for Four Grain Ale) Draught: It was pretty close to the description on the menu: Somewhat amber in color, with not too much of a head. The aroma was fairly malty. There was little if any bitterness to the taste. A good malty flavor, which was mellowed greatly by the other ingredients. Very smooth. A great session beer.
