euserphriendly (159), Holland, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 13, 2005 The description says that this Lager doesn’t really have a base in any real style, and that seems accurate. An easy drinking, if a little bland, lager. Goes down smooth and would pair nicely with some of the more mainstream dishes they serve at the brewpub.
Nate (2352), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 8, 2005 Roasted malt and caramel, buckwheat honey and rye bread. Very grainy aroma. Maple amber clear body with thin off-white head. Medium watery body and carbonation. Starts fairly dry with big grain and maple notes. Finish is nutty dry with light fruity hops and smooth bitterness. Heavy after of buckwheat honey and grain hulls. FROTHINGSLOSH (1612), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 22, 2005 Updated: Aug 26, 2007Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer pours a medium caramel color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma is light but has a sweet malty and lightly hoppy undertone. The flavor is initially strong with a sweet and tangy malts and a sharp though subdued hop presence. The finish gets a bit dry and tangy though.
