Honestly, I couldn’t tell one bit of difference between this and the "regular strength" red stripe. clean as a whistle, very light-bodied, enjoyed it more than real rock..much more. If one drank this beer in the US in the summertime, they’d think, big deal..is this budweiser or bud light? but it does seem to have its place on famed 7-mile beach in negril. I enjoyed this beer often. kevd193213 (519), Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | Nov 25, 2006 I really think the only difference is the amount of water that is added. Drink Red Stripe, I’m not sure what the point of having Red Stripe light is. Anglofile (135), Piti, Guam

I’ve only had it while in Jamaica and haven’t seen it at all locally. Would like to drink it again. Mirage52 (127), New Market, Maryland, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 5, 2006 From the bottle. Light golden color. Taste is obviously light with a slight trace of the spice and sweetness that is more noticable in original Red Stripe. I’ll stick with the not too filling original. frankenkitty (1903), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 3, 2006 Updated: May 10, 2006Appeared clear and light with a carbonated fizz forming a quick white head in the bottle upon opening (no pour... swigged from bottle). Delicate aromas are florals and grains while the flavor finds a pleasant sweetness resting on pale malt haunches. Terribly refreshing on a day with 100% humidity, this is a beer which is perfect on its home turf.
