Mild sweet pale malt aroma. Fizzy and thin. Papery flavor upfront with leads to a touch of doughy sweetness and almost no bitterness. Lacks character, I’ve had worse. jgb9348 (2502), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 13, 2003 This beer is lighter and paler in colour than its normal counterpart, but the smell and taste were very similar. Obviously a good thing if you want a less filling, still flavourful beer. I had this on tap a couple times in Jamaica, but have not ever seen it here in America. Worth a try if you can find it...but otherwise, definately try some when you are relaxing in the sun in Jamaica! DanielBrown (1919), Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, England
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 7, 2005 Bottle at Knutsford Court Hotel, Kingston, JA. Not too bad for a light Lager I didn’t think. Refreshingness is what I look for when sampling such beers in hotter climates than the UK (so most of the World then), and this was swiggable enough. Soft, slightly sweaty flavour, but passable. frankenkitty (1902), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 3, 2006 Updated: May 10, 2006Appeared clear and light with a carbonated fizz forming a quick white head in the bottle upon opening (no pour... swigged from bottle). Delicate aromas are florals and grains while the flavor finds a pleasant sweetness resting on pale malt haunches. Terribly refreshing on a day with 100% humidity, this is a beer which is perfect on its home turf.
