| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Mar 26, 2009 Typical. Long gone are the days when I could drink a beer of this caliber and still accept myself as a decent human being. Slightly darker character than American Pilsners but as the thing warmed up it got clammy, sour, and stale tasting. Oh well. sandollor (47), Germany
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Mar 24, 2009 Not a very good beer to may taste. Maybe I’ll try it again someday, but from what I remember even a little bottle was difficult to finish. not as bad as some, far from good. ben4321 (1041), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Mar 23, 2009 Had this one many, many times over the years. One of the first bears I use to buy when I first started drinking that didn’t taste like total piss...
Overall Impression:
One of those beers where the memories override the taste, still a solid beer, but the rating (especially the overall section) is for the memories more then the taste...

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Mar 20, 2009 Bottle. Could be a lot worse. I drank it out of the bottle because it would have looked like to much of a beer snob move to pour it into a glass in this given instance. From pictures though, it looks like a pale lager. Aroma of corn and pale malt. Flavor is the same, not half bad to be honest. Palate is smooth if a little watery. Very drinkable. Beardface (1036), Eugene, Oregon, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 20, 2009 The best thing about Red Stripe is that commercial they had back in the day. It’s beer, yay beer! DerWeg (777), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Mar 20, 2009 Stubby bottle... oh gawd! Almost watery clear pour with dishsoapy foam that falls in to a patchy cover. Yeasty and grainy like cheap bread, skunky oddly mineral and adjunct-sweetness of corn. Some harsh metal notes, and rising soapy notes with a raspy feel. Otherwise splendid. Pinball (2998), Allerød, Denmark

clear yellow, huge white head.
not much aroma. a little corn, a little dust.
flavor is slightly citrussy, very sweet too, corn, typical macro pale lager, this one not bad as such, but not even in the best half of pale lagers i’ve had. too sweet, and sweetness is of the sugary kind. Bullit (1392), Glasgow, Scotland
