The body has a light golden yellow color with good clarity. There is some visible carbonation that floats up to the big, white, and foamy head. The head fades quickly and doesn’t leave much lace behind. Its aroma has sweet bready malts that are almost fruity along with some light grain and hay notes. The flavor is very similar to the aroma. The malt has a sweet character with some grainy notes and a mild hop presence that adds just enough bitterness for some balance. It has a clean finish and a light body with decent carbonation to tickle the palate. Overall this is a wonderful lager that go down easy on a hot day. I like to pair this with a fresh cut lawn and a hammock in the shade.

I’m pretty sure there’s a giant brewery somewhere in the Caribbean which pumps out one beer into a dozen or so different bottles, and they’re all the official beer of <insert island name>. I’d say this is actually a bit worse than most of the others. bp17 (5), , Manitoba, Canada does not count | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Jul 13, 2008 The bottle was better than the beer. Wouldn’t go out of my way to drink it again, perhaps if I was in Jamaica I would drink it Sandman2222 (42), Florida, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 10, 2008 Golden pour, with not much character. Little bit of hops, sorta malty sweet. Much better than a bunch of the "economy" beer out there. I’d drink another if I was in Jamaica sitting on the beach somewhere. changeup45 (795), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jul 9, 2008 Golden colored. Malty, sweet, with some bitterness. A little light hopping balance. A bit watery, thin and only a little foul tasting. Probably better than quite a few other pale lagers. Not bad for the Jamaican beaches, mowing the lawn or perhaps slugging on the golf course but nothing very good here. alexsdad06 (1088), Ohio, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jul 7, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear straw color with a small white head. The light aroma is pale malts, corn, and a hint of hops. The flavor is mildly sweet, light caramel malt, corn, and light honey. This was however ok with food which helped a bit. naivepegasus (185), USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 5, 2008 Pours clear yellow with about two fingrs of stark white rapidly dissipating head. A typical macro odor, except a tint of hops. There is the taste of malts and a slight sweetness to it. Of all the macro, readily available beers, its better than your Buds or Millers out there. It’s...beer. Hurray beer? Block (379), West Lafayette, Indiana, USA
