Light straw color; Light creamy body; Aroma and flavor of sweet hops & grain; A little bland, but not much; In the same category as Corona for me but better.

33cl bottle poured into a lager glass. Sparkling gold with minimal white head. Smells like skunk and feet. Flavor is hops and socks. Medium carbonation. Finish is like morning breath. This is an awful beer.

Drank on a hot day at the end of summer. I had a Jamaican-themed beer dinner by the pool and paired this with grilled plantains and coconut jasmine rice. Not bad... Out of the oil can bottle and into a tall glass it pours a thin, pale straw with much carbonation and a quite decent frothy white head and slight lacing. Not much aroma, sweet corn, rice, and maybe a slight herbal (jasmine) hint. The taste is medium-dry, but has a sweet finish with just a hint of spice from whatever inkling of hops may exist. Cornmeal and sticky rice flavors follow. The mouthfeel is rather thin, but not watery and highly carbonated all leading to a sweet, refreshing finish. Nothing special, but I, like many, have fond high school memories of this beer and the relaxing, fun Jamaican spirit it imparts.
