bottle. hooray beer. pours pale golden with a rapidly diminishing head. i detect some fruity aroma and flavor, possibly banana, though it mainly tastes like a sweetened domestic american lager.

Clear golden yellow with medium white head. Almost no aroma. Sweet corn/malt flavor and very little else. Besides the fact that they come in stubby bottles, not exciting about this beer.

Clear golden yellow with lots of carbonation. Very little aroma. Slight taste of corn and malt and just a hint of sweetness. A decent change-of-pace beer on a hot day (when you’re tired of macros or Corona), but not an everyday beer.

So its just another comercial larger - BUT this was the import Jamaican version (from Notting Hill Gate tesco’s in case yr desperate for some) that comes in those cool stubby bottles, so you can pretend your backa yard an ting. Or something. Rubbish beer tho.

Bottle, 12 oz. Light gold color with a clear and sparkling body. Heavy malt aroma with almost no hops. Light and thin on the palate with a bitter finish. Somewhat salty.

Yellow straw color with a fizzy white head. Clear. Taste and smell of corn, malts, and a tad of hops. You can get it down, but its not that good.

This is definitely not what I was expecting. I was expecting something a little more "aley". I was surprised to find that this is only 4.7% as I feel that only a few sips of it have left me reeking of booze. Other than that it has little character and even tastes somewhat Malt-Liquor-esque. I imagine that most samplers of this won’t become repeat-offenders, and that most people try this or drink it simply for the novelty of it being "jamaican lager". Or to rate it, as is the case here. Otherwise there is little value here.

metallic tasting lager but that’s about it. quite weak and lifeless and not even as refreshing as some of it’s similarly dull friends
