50 cL can. Pours clear and golden yellow with a fizzy and fully diminished white head. Citric and vague aroma. Artificial and citric apple flavour with a quite some sweetness. Sweet lingering finish although not without a light aspertam cloying and flat finish.

Can. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are much like a cider. Nice and refreshing, but still a bit artificial.

No 514
Rated: 18.08.2008
Can, 330 ml, contains malted barley, sugar, natural citric aroma, apple accid (regulator of accidity), caramel, hue identical to a natural.
Appearance: Pours bright yellow, very pale, carbonation of the body is very lively like in a fizzy drink with enormous ammount of bubbles sticking to the beer glass, head is frisky, fizzy, quickly decreasing to a minimal and finally diminishing, no lacing, texture of the body is clear.
Aroma: Very strong citrusy notes of a citric accid origin mixed with artificial sweetness, underneath there is some malty sweetness, what is most important there is a gelatine aroma making me sick in previously taste ’Freeq’ beers. Slightly juicy reminding red apple but somehow killed by the additional artificiality.
Flavour: Slighty rusty and very mineral with additional sweetness at the background, you can feel citric accid at front, later on apple accid and finally apart from artificial sweetness some notes of malted barley, much better as it reminds a red wattery beer with some fruity hints not as artificial as the previous one.
Palate: Body is medium, texyure is sticky but somehow more refreshing, carbonation of the body is quite lively, finish feel is mineral and highly astringent.
Bottle, 300ml, Bar in Cluj, Romania. Fruity!! I felt a bit embarrassed when I realised what I had ordered. Too sweet for my liking, appley, lemony, limey, citrus heaven. Not a heavenly beer though. Quite sickly.
