Draught at the brewery. Beer is murky medium-golden brown with a small, white, frothy, mostly and quickly diminishing head.
The aroma is lightly malty with a light note of toasted grain; Yeasty with a trace of dough; Moderate miscellaneous notes of banana clove, traces of vanilla and peach.
The flavor is moderately sweet, trace acidic with an average-length, trace bittersweet, trace acidic finish. Dirty and metallic aftermath.
The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is liveley.
Thin, poor and unappealing.

Sampled at the brewhouse in Boulder. Has a very distinguished belgian flavor to it with a high degree of malts. Pours with a good head on it and a cloudy brown color to it. Favor is smooth and certainly worht a try if you are in boulder.

Light clear amber with good head. Smells....bad. The aroma is similar to fat tire mixed with vinegar and it had a penny stuck in it. Drain pour. No no no no no. Save yourself.

22oz bottle. Poured a medium reddish / brown color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of dark fruits, caramel, light roast, and bananas. Tastes of dark fruits (some raisins and plums, caramel, and lightly spicy. Weaker body and tastes. Cool looking label and one for the shelves if not one for the high ratings.

Not bad, a bit of roastiness, I was not expecting, sweet caramel, with a bit of a toffee spice cake consistency on the palate. Decent.

On tap @ Rocky Mountain Brewfest poured a cloudy reddish amber with a diminishing amber head. Aromas of light fruit, spice, carmel and toffee. Palate was light bodied and dry. Flavors of carmel, toffee, light fruit and light spice with a dry bitter finish.

4 oz sampler at the brewpub, 4/14/06: Hazy orange-red beer. Slightly sweet, almost raisiny. Almost at the Belgian quality, but not quite.
