Aromas of dark fruits, caramel, light roast, and bananas. Tastes of dark fruits (some raisins and plums, caramel, and lightly spicy. Weaker body and tastes. Light doughyness from the yeast contrasts with solventy phenolic off notes from the aroma. Highly oxidized in mouth where cardboard beginnings turn into penny endings while light caravienna is disturbed by painting flavours. Almost flat bodied, slightly oily and dull texture. jcwattsrugger (5525), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Aroma of toasty, grainy caramel malt with a touch of cherries and Belgian yeast. Starts fairly full and toasty caramely sweet with a drier spice balance and a slightly blander doughy and bitter finish. Has some decent authenticity, but needs more sweetness.
