A hazy amber beer with no head. The aroma is very light, with some notes of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of hops and nuts, and a dry end. Nice.

Draught. Body is medium amber. Aroma is moderately malty (cookie, toasted bread), moderately hoppy (flowers, orange). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, heavily bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. New brewer, new recipe. And hey, folks, Chris got this shit right...definitely English hops in the nose, probably Fuggles, and nice malt texture. Aggressively bitter, but enough malt to keep me wanting another sip...a perfect quaffer. Well done ESB at last from Redfish!

Draught at Redfish in Boulder. Pours amber with a small tan frothy head; decent spotty lacing. Citrus hop and pine aroma with roasted caramel malt notes. Grapefruit flavor, fizzy and spicy, with a pine hop and caramel malt body. Medium bodied and creamy palate.

Tap @ brewpub. Clear golden color, short head. Moderate hoppy aroma. Decent bitter taste with a malty body. Decent ESB.

Draft: Clear, rich amber in color with a nice and lasting head. Tasty malt flavors, yeasty, and a little nutty. Nice and rich hops to boot, with mild hints of earth and grass. Healthy bitterness. Overall, really balanced, drinkable and flavorful. I had two or three in a row and would've easily had another ... and another.

Decent, grainy malt body, with a bit of sweet fruitiness, lots of grapefruit induced hoppiness, creamy mouthfeel, with a bit of a a bitter dry finish. Just a really decent session beer, not too light and over powering, just well balanced and easy to drink.
