Gotta keep my eye on this new brewer, Chris. The aroma here needs to be a little stronger in both the malt and hop department, but it's the right kinds of both (big relief). Assertive bitterness keeps this to style, unlike many interpretations that are just too sweet. This guy can do nothing but help Redfish's line of beers overall, IMHO. Aubrey (2643), Denver, Colorado, USA Aug 28, 2004 Clear and light golden. Light malts, but they have some nice flavors to them ... grainy and earthy. Mild carbonation. Mild sweetness complemented by a balancing bitterness. Overall, rather subdued, but it has some nice things going on. jcwattsrugger (4272), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Nov 6, 2006 on tap-pours a white head and yellow color. Aroma is sweet grain.
