Gotta keep my eye on this new brewer, Chris. The aroma here needs to be a little stronger in both the malt and hop department, but it's the right kinds of both (big relief). Assertive bitterness keeps this to style, unlike many interpretations that are just too sweet. This guy can do nothing but help Redfish's line of beers overall, IMHO. jcwattsrugger (5573), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 13, 2007 Draught at the brewery. Beer is clear, light yellow-gold with a small, frothy, white, mostly and quickly diminishing head.

The aroma is malty with a light note of toasted grain; Yeasty with a trace of dough; Moderate miscellaneous notes of pineapple, honey and melon. Not quite to-style or very complex, but pleasing. Clean, simple and fruity.

The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter with a short, trace bitter finish with some pretty husky retros.

The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA
