CaptainCougar (4709), Rockville, Maryland, USA Oct 27, 2007 On tap at the brewpub on 10/14/07: Pours a transparent copper orange with a frothy, full-lacing white head. Light caramel malty sweetness has an orangy hoppy presence. Body starts pretty full with some sugary sweetness, slightly fruity estery citrus hoppiness toward a drier bittersweet finish. An ok IPA, but needs some refinement. acrdz (4535), Boulder, Colorado, USA Jan 10, 2005 Light murky yellow. Sweet peach and candy, bubble gum hop aroma... wonderful aroma really. Cannibus-like flavor, tastes very gritty from the hops, with a grassy malt sweetness as well... leafy, musty, tingles the tongue. Ernest (4324), Boulder, Colorado, USA Aug 25, 2004 Draught. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (cookie), moderately hoppy (grapefruit, resin). Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Assertively bitter (and pretty tart as well), a bit too much. A decent enough IPA but not distinctive in any way.
