| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 6, 2007 Bottle pour. Dark brownish-black in color. Very nutty aroma to this one along with some malty notes. I’m not sure if this bottle was old, but the taste was a little off. Very dry and malty but almost no noticeable flavors coming through. Decent, but not one I would seek out. kenb (1100), Oregon, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 24, 2007 Pours a dark brown color with a lighter tan head. Aroma is of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, caramel, and a little bit of hop character to back it up. The aroma really wasn’t as strong as I would like. Flavor starts off with the roasted malts, coffee, and chocolate. Has a somewhat bitter finish. Better then I thought it would be from the aroma. I still wish there was just a little bit more flavor on this one. SSSteve (2071), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
