Bottle: Poured balck with red high lights, and a tan head. Aroma was there if you looked for it. The typical roasted chocolate coffee of a good ported. And tasted ike roasted coffe and chocolate. Smootha nd even with a mid-level mouth feel. Acid like bitterness with a very dry finish. Nice.

Bottle. Very dark brown with a ruby glow. Thin beige head. Smells of coffee-like roasted malts and a little dark chocolate. Aroma is not very strong, but good. Tastes of roasted malts and bitter chocolate, a little harsh on the tongue with a bitter acidity. Hop bitterness is not excessive, just a lack of malt backbone. Thin mouthfeel, dry finish. I’m not getting the sweetness others are getting here. I want a little more caramel or some chewyness, this is kind of like a porter lite. Not bad, just not as good as several others.

Poured a dark brown with red tints with a small tan head. Lighter aromas and tastes of chocolates and coffee. Light bitter finish. Weaker for a porter. Thinner body.

Pours black with a quickly fading beige head. Aroma of lightly roasted malt and chocolate milk. Taste is mainly roasted malt with some chocolate and coffee. Leaves a somewhat of a burnt/bitteraftertaste. Needs more body, sweetness and flavor IMO. Medium/thin body with medium carbonation. Overall, not bad but dull and uninspired.

This pours out a nice deep black body with a tall light brown head. Minimal lacing is left after the head dies down. The smell is of roasted malts with a strong espresso presence. Otherwise I found the nose to be relatively mild but pleasant. Taste was of roasted coffee with a bit of smokiness and a touch of dark fruits. It had a bitter coffee aftertaste as well. Mouthfeel was good with nothing standing out except a bit of over carbonation. Drinkability was good as the taste was pleasant enough that I would definitely have one of these again. Pretty solid example of a porter not the best but good.
