This ranks up there with Boulevard Bully Porter for me. I would buy this again anyday. Very smooth. michael-pollack (2726), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA

Dark brown in color, but looks a little thin. Poured with very slight head, that disappeared quickly. Slight lacing. Flavor is of choclate and vanilla. A little weak and watery. Palate was ok; no real finish to speak of. Overall, I am not that impressed, though it is not a bad beer. archstanton (105), mukilteo, Washington, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 24, 2004 Picked up a sixer at the usual beer place. My first porter experience, and definately a style I will be trying again. Poured a very dark brown/black with very little head. Very good, although not something I would drink often, something I definately would give another try to. JonR888710 (999), Cochabamba, Bolivia
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 9, 2004 Sampled on tap at Dinosaur BBQ in Rochester, NY. Jet black body with a thick, long-lasting, nitrogen fueled, white head. Not much smell, just some roasted hops. Taste is good, bitter hops, roasted coffee, roasted malt. Not too heavy, a little too thin though for my liking. Still, not a bad beer. Spiesy (2333), Global Citizen, Greater London, England
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 24, 2004 Bottled. I’m sad to say it but this isn’t even as good as home brew. Gutting really that someone should produce a Porter of such poor quality. Dark brown with a quickly settling tan head. Fishy aroma that effectively masks the malts underneath. It’s probably wrong of me to say home brew as many people brew better than this without trying. argo0 (6978), Washington DC, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 20, 2004 Black body with medium tan head. Aroma is roasty, coffee, some caramel, faint nutty. Taste is very roasty, solid coffee, with light chocolate. Light-medium body. Yankovitch333 (612), Chesapeake City, Maryland, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 11, 2004 Pours black with a thin biege head. Vanilla and camamel on the nose. Thin mouthfeel. Coffee, caramel, and dark chocolate on the tongue. Not the worst porter, but it's not very good.
