Typical pour of a porter, very black. Smoky aroma, roasted malt, roasted nuts. Very smooth, nothing smacks you in the face initially, but the finish is a caramelly, roasted malt, nuttiness. Nice sweetness, but not overpowering. The only knock is the lack of a taste initially, otherwise this is a very nice beer.

Pours a black and nearly opaque color with a very mild light brown head that does not hang around. Nose is roasty and nutty. Star is pretty undefined, followed by a very hearty rich nuttyness that is not bitter like the bottle promised. There might be a slightest hint of fruit in there as well. The palate is perfect and feels great going down. A very drinkable beer. There may be some complexity that is lacking.

A small sized tan head formed when this beer was poured and it had small-medium sized bubbles that quickly dissipated. The hue was black and the nose was malty. The flavor was that of coffee and the mouthfeel was smooth and light-medium bodied. This beer had good lacing to it.

This brew poured a small head of brown fine to medium sized mostly lasting bubbles that left a good spider web like lacing and an uncarbonated black brown body behind. Its aroma is a very mild sweet malty one. The flavor is a mild coffee malt one with an initially smooth mouthfeel that linger for awhile ending just a little bitter.

Just above average porter. Dark black pour with a tannish head. Nice malty notes along with toffee. Rich malty flavor. Liked it more than I thought I would.

Agian, like the IPA, there wasn't a whole lot going on. Grainy malts once again, with a slightly roasted finish, a bit thin and boring, no length on the finish (Cask- GBBF 03')

Crystal clear, cherry wood-colored beer. Medium-sized, frothy, khaki-colored head. Excellent, lengthy retention and decent lacing. The aroma is of toasted cashews and milk chocolate. The flavors are of weak coffee, cocoa and hazelnuts. Perfectly-balanced. Light-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Dry, toasty finish with a hint of burnt straw.
